A. Getting Started

1. What is the TalentyGo Business Portal?

TalentyGo is a two-sided recruiting marketplace. The Business Portal (business.talentygo.com) is the employer side. It lets companies search a "roster" of pre-screened, anonymized candidate profiles, use an AI matching engine to find relevant candidates, and contact candidates — but only after a candidate consents.

2. Does it cost anything to register?

Registration is currently free. Some features are or may be offered as paid services, including recurring subscriptions and one-time (one-shot) purchases. Any pricing is shown at the point of purchase. Payments are processed by Stripe.

3. Who can use the portal?

Bona fide employers, staffing/recruiting firms, and authorized recruiting agents using it for legitimate hiring purposes. The person who signs up must be at least 18 and authorized to act for the company. Access is for your organization's internal use and may not be resold or shared.

B. How the Anonymous Roster Works

4. Why are candidate profiles anonymized?

To protect candidates, profiles are shown with identifying details — such as name and current/prior employer — masked. You can review skills, experience, and other non-identifying attributes to assess fit before anyone is contacted.

5. What is the AI matching engine, and can I rely on it?

The matching engine uses semantic search to suggest and rank candidates based on your criteria. It is a decision-support tool only. Its output is probabilistic and may be incomplete or inaccurate, so you must apply your own human judgment and comply with anti-discrimination and any AI-in-hiring laws that apply to you. Do not use it as the sole basis for a decision with a legal or significant effect on a person.

6. Does TalentyGo verify candidate information?

Candidate information is provided by candidates. Except as expressly stated, we do not independently verify it and do not guarantee its accuracy, completeness, or that any candidate will respond, consent, or be hired.

C. Contacting Candidates

7. How and when can I contact a candidate?

Only through the platform, and only after the candidate consents. When a candidate consents, their identifying details are unmasked and you can communicate through the platform's messaging.

8. Can I look up a candidate on other sites or contact them directly?

No. You must not attempt to de-anonymize, re-identify, or contact a candidate outside the platform's consent workflow — including cross-referencing masked data with external sources (like LinkedIn) to guess someone's identity. This is a prohibited use and can result in suspension or termination.

9. Can I use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to collect roster data?

No. Scraping, crawling, harvesting, bulk downloading, or any automated collection of data from the Services is strictly prohibited, as is building a database or derivative dataset from the roster or candidate data. We use technical measures to detect this and may pursue legal remedies.

D. What You May and May Not Do With Candidate Data

10. What can I use candidate data for?

Only for evaluating and pursuing a genuine employment or engagement opportunity for a role you are actually hiring for.

11. What is prohibited?

Do not: use candidate data for marketing, advertising, credit, insurance, tenant screening, or resale; train your own or a third party's AI/ML models on candidate data; sell or share candidate data or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising; retain it longer than needed; post fake or "ghost" jobs; or solicit money or financial information from candidates.

12. What are my responsibilities for handling candidate data?

When you receive candidate data, you act as an independent business/third party responsible for handling it lawfully. That means: use it only for the recruiting purpose, keep appropriate security safeguards, honor candidate privacy rights, comply with applicable privacy laws (like CCPA/CPRA and other state laws), and delete it when it is no longer needed. See Terms Sections 5–6.

13. Is there a Data Processing Addendum (DPA)?

Yes, where applicable. Where TalentyGo processes personal data on your behalf, or where the law requires, the parties' data-protection roles are governed by the DPA (available on request at [email protected]). If your company needs a signed DPA, contact [email protected].

E. Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Reminder

14. What are my EEO / anti-discrimination obligations?

You are solely responsible for ensuring your sourcing, screening, and hiring practices comply with equal employment opportunity and anti-discrimination laws — for example, Title VII, the ADEA, the ADA, GINA, the Equal Pay Act, and applicable state/local fair-employment, pay-transparency, "ban-the-box," and AI-in-hiring laws (such as NYC Local Law 144, the Illinois Artificial Intelligence Video Interview Act, and similar measures). Never use search filters, the matching engine, or candidate data to discriminate on a protected basis.

15. What about background checks?

If you run background checks or use consumer reports, you are responsible for FCRA compliance (disclosures, authorizations, and adverse-action steps) and any state equivalents. TalentyGo is not a consumer reporting agency, and the Services are not "consumer reports."

F. Costs, Billing, and Cancellation

16. What paid options exist?

Recurring subscriptions and one-time purchases, processed via Stripe. Details and pricing appear at checkout or in your order.

17. Do subscriptions renew automatically?

Yes, unless stated otherwise. Subscriptions auto-renew at the then-current rate until you cancel. You authorize the recurring charge for each period.

18. How do I cancel?

Cancel renewal any time before your next billing period through your account settings or by contacting [email protected]. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period.

19. Can I get a refund?

Except where required by law or expressly stated in your order, fees are non-refundable and are not pro-rated for partial periods, unused features, or candidates who do not respond. One-time purchases are final once delivered/activated. Refund requests may be submitted to [email protected]; any applicable refund window or trial terms will be stated at checkout (to be confirmed).

G. Data Security, Privacy, and Contacts

20. How is my data secured?

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards (such as encryption in transit and access controls). No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Protect your login credentials and any data you export. See the Privacy Policy, Section 9.

21. What privacy rights do business users have?

Depending on your state, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, and port your personal information, and to opt out of "sale"/"sharing"/targeted advertising. See Privacy Policy, Sections 5–6, and the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" option (contact [email protected]).

22. Who do I contact about privacy or legal questions?

  • Privacy: [email protected] (an online request form is in the process of being made available)
  • General/legal: [email protected]
  • Mailing address: TalentyGo LLC, 30 N Gould St Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA

H. Accounts, Suspension, and Disputes

23. Can my account be suspended or terminated?

Yes. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate the Terms (for example, scraping, de-anonymization, fraud, fake jobs, or non-payment), create legal risk, or where required by law. See Terms, Section 14.

24. How are disputes resolved?

The Terms include an informal-resolution step, then binding individual arbitration with a class-action and jury-trial waiver, plus a limited opt-out window and exceptions (small claims and injunctive relief). Please read Terms, Section 15, carefully.

25. What law governs?

The laws of the State of Delaware and applicable U.S. federal law, with venue as stated in Terms, Section 16.
